Ann Hatfield

Ann Hatfield

Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care & Outreach, She/Her

Ann grew up in Swarthmore, PA. She graduated with a B.S. in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and received a Master of Divinity at Palmer Theological Seminary. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Ann worked as a civil engineer and preschool teacher. Ann joined Westminster in January 2011 and is responsible for directing the outreach ministries and coordinating the pastoral care for the congregation. Ann and her husband, Jim, have been married for 30 years and have two grown sons, Daniel and Michael. When not working, Ann enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, and playing squash.

Barb Drain

Barb Drain

Executive Secretary, She/Her

Barb grew up in Westminster and joined as a confirmand in 1962. Her responsibilities at Westminster have included a plethora of tasks over the years. Currently, Barb’s main responsibilities is to ensure all the church’s office tasks are completed in an efficient, timely fashion. She maintains the church’s facility calendar and membership database; schedules all baptisms, funerals, and weddings; and thoroughly enjoys assisting our congregants and staff with any issues brought to her attention. Barb graduated from Goldey-Beacom with a secretarial degree, and prior to joining Westminster’s team in 2004, she worked as an administrative assistant with the Franciscan Health System. After 19 years on the job, she retired to raise her two children, Michelle and James. When not working, Barb enjoys singing with the Chancel Choir and spending time with her family—especially babysitting for her grandchildren!

Chris Clark

Chris Clark

Director of Youth & College Ministries, He/Him

Chris grew up in Lancaster, PA. He graduated with a B.A in youth ministry and biblical studies from Eastern University. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Chris worked as the Director for Children and Youth at a church in Devon, PA. Chris joined Westminster in 2015 and is responsible for year round programs and activities for teens, training and organizing adult volunteers, and cultivating community and spiritual growth among youth and their families.

Chris and his wife Jess have two children, Hadley and Bodi. In his free time Chris loves long distance running, getting lost in good music, watching Wes Anderson films, and spending quality time with his family.

Gerry McShane

Gerry McShane

Church Administrator, He/Him

Before joining Westminster in February 2013, Gerry spent 36 years in financial services, the last 20 in wealth management working for Wilmington Trust, Wachovia, and BNY Mellon. He and his wife Carol reside in Kennett Square and have four children--Michael, Daniel, Caitlyn, and Connor--and three grandchildren. When he’s not working, Gerry enjoys singing in the Westminster Chancel Choir. One of his great passions is educating others about wine and how to enjoy it. Other interests include cooking, listening to music, reading, and traveling.

Jennie Moffitt

Jennie Moffitt

Administrative Assistant, She/Her

Jennie Moffitt grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Penn Hills High where she also completed her training as a licensed Hairdresser. After raising three children, Jennie pursued a change in career when she started working in the church office at Hebron United Presbyterian Church. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Jennie worked for 14 years (10 as Office Manager) at Hebron, and then moved to Alabama when her husband Ed, took a position in Birmingham. While in Birmingham, Jennie was the Church Administrator for the Birmingham Unitarian Universalist Church for 6 + years before moving to West Chester with her husband to be near their daughter and family. Jennie joined Westminster in January 2022 as the Administrative Assistant. Jennie and Ed have been married for 41 years and have three adult children and two grandsons. When not working, Jennie loves to cook, read, and play with the grandchildren.

Jill Reichert

Jill Reichert

Director of Children & Family Ministries, She/Her

Born and raised in Coatesville, Jill graduated from Shippensburg University with a Biology/Marine Science degree. She worked for 11 years as an Environmental Scientist before sensing a different call to educational ministry. With the encouragement of her pastor (which happened to be Jennie Clark, at the time) she began a new calling as a Christian Educator and headed down the road of further theological and educational ministries training and education at Lancaster Theological Seminary and Union Presbyterian Seminary. Jill served First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg (7 years), Wayside Presbyterian Church (9 years), First Presbyterian Church of West Chester as an interim (1 1/2 years), the Parish Resource Center (2 years), and Grace United Church of Christ (3 years). Jill and her husband, Brian, live in Strasburg and have 2 grown children, Brandon (married to Olivia, with their daughter, Aubrey), who is an aerospace engineer for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (Dayton, Ohio) and Jake (a college student at the University of Alabama, majoring in Sports Media). When not working, Jill enjoys watching Alabama Crimson Tide sports (Roll Tide!), spending time with her husband as they figure out this empty nest thing, and when the schedule allows, traveling to Ohio to visit her granddaughter, Aubrey and her family.

Joe Callan

Custodian, He/Him

Joe grew up in Southwest Philadelphia. He graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys. Prior to joining Westminster’s team in 2016, he was a custodian/cleaner in the Philly area. Joe and his partner, Kim have three daughters Erin, Marissa, and Shawna. When not working, Joe enjoys fishing, cooking, and avidly following all of the Philadelphia sports teams.

Jon Frost

Jon Frost

Associate Pastor for Worship, He/Him

Jon was born in northern Idaho but has lived in the suburban Philadelphia area most of his life. He received a B.A. in music with a minor in theology at Eastern University. Jon joined the staff of Westminster in August 2004 as the Director of Youth and Alternative Worship. After beginning the ordination process in the PC (USA) in 2007, Jon received his Master of Divinity in 2010 from Biblical Seminary, with additional studies at Dubuque and Lancaster Theological Seminaries. Jon loves participating in a wide variety of worship expressions and has a passion for encouraging the intersection of worship and mission in the Christian life. He plays classical guitar and is fluent in Spanish.

Karen Koepke

Karen Koepke

‎ Thrift Shop Manager, She/Her

Karen grew up in Johnstown, PA, and graduated from Westmont High School. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Karen worked in Bethlehem, PA, as an Office Assistant at an electrical company. Karen joined Westminster’s team as Receptionist/Secretary from 1989-2008, and in 2008 she became the Thrift Shop Manager.

Karen and her husband Dave have been members for 34 years and have two children Matthew and Katie. During those 34 years Karen has been involved in many aspects of the church. She was a Deacon, taught Sunday School, Chaired the Christian Education Committee and Youth Council, was Director of VBS and Sunday School Superintendent and served on various other committees. In recent years, she sings with the Chancel Choir and is on the Prayer Chain. When not working, Karen enjoys being with her family and grandchildren, spending time with friends, and going to the shore.

Kirsten Santos Rutschman

Kirsten Santos Rutschman

Associate Director of Music Ministries, She/Her

Before joining Westminster in January 2024, Kirsten worked as an organist and church musician in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Illinois and Washington State. She also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in music. Kirsten has a Ph.D. in musicology from Duke University, as well as degrees from Stanford University and Linköping University (Sweden), and she spent a year in Stockholm on a Fulbright Scholarship. She has completed two years of the Chorister’s Guild Institute for directors of K-8 church choirs. She grew up in Bellingham, WA, where she started singing in her church’s Cherub Choir at age 4. In addition to organ and piano, she plays handbells and violin, including Swedish fiddling. When not working, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, knitting, traveling, and learning languages.

Leah Hrachovec

Pastor, She/Her

Before joining Westminster in August 2022, Leah served as Pastor/Head of Staff of First Presbyterian Church, Stillwater, Oklahoma. She graduated from Grinnell College (Iowa) with a B.A. in psychology, and received a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. In 2014, Leah completed a Doctor of Ministry in Parish Revitalization at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.

Leah grew up in Owasso, OK, and her spouse Nathaniel Cooper is also from Oklahoma. They have two children, ages 3 and 10, and are searching for a new housecat to join the family. When not working, Leah enjoys going on day trips with her family, gardening, hiking, reading, being sous chef for Nat, and volunteer teaching with Solar Under the Sun, a solar energy ministry of the Synod of the Sun (PCUSA).

Lynn George

Director of Communications, She/Her

Lynn grew up in Hershey, PA. She graduated with a B.A. in communication and film from Messiah College. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Lynn worked as the Social Media Specialist at MCP Interactive, a marketing company in Central PA. She also owns her own business, Lilliput Productions, where she does photography, videography, graphic design, VHS digitalization, and website design. Lynn joined Westminster in 2016 and is responsible for all the communications from Westminster, including the church website, social media, weekly emails, technology, overseeing the live stream broadcasts, as well as all the printed material found in the church. In her free time, Lynn loves traveling around the world, reading a good book, sailing, biking, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.

Mary Maina

Childcare Coordinator, She/Her

Mary Maina grew up in West Chester, PA. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from Richmond, the American International University in London. Mary joined Westminster’s staff in 2023 and continues to work as a Paralegal. She and her partner, Jean-Baptiste have been together for five years and have one child, Samuel. When not working, Mary enjoys reading and going on adventures with her son.

Megan Potts

Megan Potts

Preschool Director, She/Her

Before joining Westminster in 2022, Megan worked for Trinity Academy, The Malvern School and Living Water Christian School in Director and Teacher positions. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and is currently pursuing a M.Ed in Early Childhood Education at Arcadia University. She grew up in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Megan and Michael live in Downingtown, and have five children: Gwenivere, Gracelynn, Blair, Brent and Brianna.  They also have two dogs and five chickens.  When not working, Megan enjoys being outdoors - hiking, kayaking, and exploring new places.

Ron Bellamy

Ron Bellamy

Director of Bells, He/Him

Ron joined the Westminster staff in 2008 as the handbell choir director. He first picked up a handbell in 1979 and became the director of a handbell choir in 1997. He has rung bells professionally with the Philadelphia Handbell Ensemble, Bell Amis (pronounced “Bellamy”) a small ensemble of 5–7 ringers), and Bell a deux (a duet team with Bobbi Schmid). He’s also been a bell soloist since 1994 and a clinician and performer at many national handbell conferences. A graduate of the University of Scranton, Ron's full-time profession is in accounting/credit.

In July 2016, Ron married Linda Lorgus, Westminster's former handbell director and organist, and together they perform at many venues in the tristate area.

Sandy Kurek

Sandy Kurek

Director of Finance, She/Her

Sandy grew up in Lancaster, PA. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College with a B.A. in Economics, she earned her MBA in Finance from the University of Delaware. Prior to joining Westminster, she worked in Private Banking and Corporate Finance for JP Morgan in Delaware and New York and held financial leadership roles in an educational Nonprofit and as a Small Business consultant. As the Finance Director, she is excited to support the faithful work of Westminster. Sandy and her husband, Greg, have two grown sons, Gregory and Brandon. A lifelong learner, she enjoys a healthy lifestyle that includes cooking, sports, and outdoor adventure, whenever possible, and spending time with family and friends.
