Thank You for Your Generosity on Commitment Sunday!

We’re very grateful for the 315 households who pledged $1,325,941 or 63% towards our 2024 annual giving campaign. Pledges represent approximately 89% of our operating budget and inform us of what we can spend in 2024. Without your pledge commitment, we must make hard decisions on programming, staffing, and building priorities based on scarcity instead of possibility. The challenge is to work toward a tithe (10% of your income). Your pledge for Abundant Life at Westminster manifests a promise for the future. If you missed Commitment Sunday, you can still pledge online or by mailing your pledge card to the church. Thank you for your support of Westminster’s mission and ministry in 2024 Questions? Sandy Kurek

Thank You: Peace & Global Witness Offering

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to our annual Peace & Global Witness Offering. As a result of your generous donations, we collected almost $3,800! Twenty-five percent of this amount will remain at Westminster to be shared with two of our ministry partners: Angels Against Addiction and the Community Warehouse Project. The remainder of the money will be used to support the work of peace and reconciliation in our region and across the globe through the PC(USA). Thank you so much for your participation and generosity!

Fall Blanket Drive Begins

For the past 20+ years Westminster collected winter coats. This year we decided to pivot and collect new Warm Winter Blankets (Twin or Full Size preferred but Queen accepted too) from October 15 through November 5. We will distribute the blankets to Chester County Migrant Ministries, Safe Harbor, the Community Warehouse, West Chester Food Cupboard, the St. Agnes Day Room, and Prevention Point of Philadelphia. Blankets can be dropped off in the bins around the building or ordered online at AmazonWalmart or your favorite retailer, and sent to the church directly at 10 Pleasant Grove West Chester, Pa, 19382. Questions? Contact Laureen Smith.

Support Christ’s Work at Westminster in 2024

Westminster Presbyterian Church is a community on a mission to Know Christ and Make Christ Known! Knowing Christ creates abundant life for us and for all the world, we are called to thrive and to help our neighbors thrive. Currently, 89.6% of our operating budget is supported by your annual gifts and pledges. Your pledge helps our leadership plan faithfully and responsibly for the future year at Westminster. We pray you consider increasing your pledge in 2024, if you are able, we challenge you to work toward a tithe (10% of your income).

Commitment Sunday is this Sunday, October 22. We will joyfully celebrate and dedicate all our gifts in support of our mission. You can pledge online, mail your pledge card to the church, or bring your pledge card with you this Sunday. Thank you for being a part of Westminster and our life-affirming work of Knowing Christ, and Making Christ Known and for all the ways you support Westminster and share abundant life together. Questions?
